About Fair Way Volt

Built for golf cart owners, not dealers.

Fair Way Volt helps you find golf cart parts and upgrades that actually fit your cart. We do it with research you can check, written in plain words.

Why we exist

Golf cart parts are sold with a lot of hopeful words. “Universal fit.” “Direct replacement.” “Fits most carts.” Then the box shows up. The charger plug is the wrong shape. The motor has 19 splines and your axle needs 23. The windshield bracket was made for a different model year.

Every one of those mistakes costs you something: a return label, a lost weekend of riding, or a cart that sits dead in the garage while you wait for the right part.

Fair Way Volt exists to stop that. Every guide and every ranking on this site starts with one simple question: will this fit your cart?

What we cover

We cover ride-on golf carts from the big three brands, EZGO, Club Car and Yamaha, plus push carts and electric caddies. Our content is split into two tracks.

Spec Rankings

Side by side buying guides for the parts owners shop for most:

  • Power systems: batteries, chargers, motors, controllers and cables
  • Ride and wheels: tires, hub caps and brakes
  • Shelter: windshields, roofs, extended roofs and enclosures
  • Light and sound: light bars, speakers, subwoofers and radios
  • Street legal: turn signal kits, horns and mirrors
  • Haul and load: truck ramps and cargo baskets

Field Guides

Plain answers to the questions owners ask every day: how to charge a lithium battery, how to tell if your batteries are failing, how to test a controller, how fast a 36V cart can go, and what a cart really costs to buy, lease or sell.

How we research

We do not run a test track or a repair shop, and we will never pretend we do. We do not claim hands-on testing. Instead, every pick goes through the same three steps.

  • We read the specs. Manufacturer spec sheets, manuals, wiring diagrams and fitment charts come first. Voltage, amp hours, spline count, weight rating and model years.
  • We read the owners. Verified buyer reviews show what a spec sheet can’t: fit problems, early failures and pleasant surprises. When a product has only a few reviews or a low average, we say so.
  • We check the fit. Every pick is matched to the brands, models and voltages it is built for. When fit is unclear, we tell you exactly what to measure or count before you order.

Then we explain it in short, simple sentences, so you can make the call yourself.

What we will not do

  • Claim we tested a product we have only researched.
  • Let a brand pay to be included in a list or to rank higher.
  • Hide low ratings or common complaints to make a product look better.
  • Guess on fitment. If we are not sure, we say so and show you how to check.

How we keep the lights on

Fair Way Volt is free to read. When you buy through some of our links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, Fair Way Volt earns from qualifying purchases. You can read exactly how this works on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

Commissions never decide which products make a list or where they rank.

Independent and open to correction

Fair Way Volt is an independent publication. We are not owned by, sponsored by or affiliated with any golf cart maker, dealer or parts brand. EZGO, Club Car, Yamaha and other names on this site are trademarks of their owners.

Golf cart parts change often. Makers update part numbers, models get revised, and prices move. If you spot a fit note, spec or fact that looks wrong, please tell us at hello@fairwayvolt.com. We will check it against the source and fix it.
